2015 Charles Johnson Memorial Lecture on Trench Papers of World War I

On January 22 (Thursday). Prof. Robert Nelson of the University of Windsor, Canada, will present a lecture entitled : “Trenches, Women, Jokes, and the Enemy: German, British, and French Soldier Newspapers during the First World War”. The lecture will be held at 4pm on Jan. 22 (Thursday) in UT’s Haslam Business Building, Room 303. The lecture, sponsored by the Center for the Study of War and Society is free and open to the public. The annual Johnson Lecture honors the Center’s founder, History Professor Charles “Chuck” Johnson.
