Fall 2020 Leroy Graf Early Major Awards

The Department of History is happy to announce the Fall 2020 recipients of the Leroy Graf Early Major Award. Each semester, faculty identify new History majors who show great promise at an early stage to recognize with this award. It is always a difficult choice, given the excellence of our undergraduates.

Congratulations to Kris Kudialis, Gabriel Friel, Nicole Deasy, Corinne Kamien, and Presley Danielle Cowan, this semester’s Graf Early Major Award winners. We expect great things from them!

The Leroy Graf Early Major Award is made possible by the generosity of Prof. Leroy P. Graf, whose decades-long tenure in the department included a a stint as department head in 1965, helping launch the Papers of Andrew Johson Project in 1956, and the designation Distinguished Service Professor in 1977.
