Dr. Michael Cohen has received the 2014 Linda Eisenmann Prize for his book, Reconstructing the Campus: Higher Education and the American Civil War. The prize recognizes outstanding scholarship by a junior scholar in the field of the history of higher education in the United States. He will receive this award at the History of Education Society meeting, in Indianapolis. This is the second award for his book— he has previously been awarded the 2014 Critics Choice Book Award of the American Educational Studies Association (AESA.)
