New Gift Supports Our Graduate Students

Through the generosity of Bette Gorman (’63) and the Gorman family, the History Department is happy to announce a new fund to support Graduate Student travel for research. MS. Gorman has endowed this fund in honor of her husband, Joseph Gorman (’62), who went on from and undergraduate degree in History to a PhD from Harvard University in 1968, and on to a career at the Library of Congress. For more, see the story here. The Department is thankful for this endowment, and we look forward to the amazing research it will facilitate by our graduate students.
