Ian Geary is a second year MA student studying the Late Medieval and Renaissance period under Dr. Bast. His research focus surrounds urban and religious culture in the communes and free imperial cities of Italy and Germany. He is particularly interested in how the Medieval and Early modern populace of such cities experimented with politics and sanctity.
