Biography
Patrick Ramey is a first year PhD student studying U.S. History since Reconstruction. His research focuses on the changing role of Education in its relationship with the state during the long-progressive era. He is particularly interested in incorporating transnational, and interregional perspectives in his research in order to illuminate connections between education politics in the United States South with contemporaneous, global developments.
