Devin DeVore is a practicing attorney and first-year PhD student studying United States history under Luke Harlow. His research centers on race and religion in 19th-century America. He is particularly interested in how U.S. politics surrounding slavery impacted the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) during both the antebellum and postbellum periods.
