Madison Fogle is a PhD candidate studying Syriac Christianity and the Byzantine Empire during the sixth and seventh centuries. Her research focuses on Christian apocalyptic literature and historical narrative, specifically the power structures that are shown in and created by these texts. She is particularly interested in concepts of gender, identity, and memory.
