Aimee Hunt-Beasley is a third-year PhD student studying 19th-century American history and religion under the direction of Luke Harlow. Her research focuses on the integral role of missions to Southern Baptist theology and its place in ideologies surrounding white superiority. She is particularly interested in the actions and reactions of Baptist children to mission work and the way missions functioned during the Civil War.
