Aimee Hunt-Beasley is a fourth-year PhD student studying religious and Civil War-era history with Dr. Luke Harlow. Her research focuses on the Southern Baptist Convention and its missionary theologies, especially during the Civil War as a locus of white superiority and Confederate nationalism. She is particularly interested in how white Baptist children responded to mission work and their interactions with evangelism in China.
