Kimberly Krueger is a first-year PhD student studying early medieval Europe under Matthew Gillis. Her research centers on unusual religious experiences within early medieval Christianity, often focusing on cultural attitudes in Carolingian literature. Kim is particularly interested in the roles of the physical body and the supernatural in religious recollection and how these beliefs influenced medieval Christian worldviews.
