Jackson Murray

Graduate Student

Jackson Murray is a second-year PhD student specializing in early 20th-century Germany. His research focuses on the relationship between religion, material objects, and morality. He is currently researching theft in the Kaiserreich, World War I, and the Weimar Republic as a way of investigating the social and cultural meanings of material objects in terms of crime and morality.

Research Interests: Modern Germany, History of Religion, History of Consumption
