Jason Stubblefield
Teaching Assistant Professor
Jason Stubblefield studies ecclesiastical history, biblical exegesis, and liturgical history in the Middle Ages. His current research explores how biblical exegesis shaped history writing in Anglo-Norman England. He is particularly interested in how sacred conceptions of the past, ever present in liturgy and the reading of the Bible, influenced a monk who was also a prolific historian: William of Malmesbury.
