Sara Ritchey
To kick off Season 2 of The Jangle, we look back to a conversation we had with professor Sara Ritchey as we trace her journey to becoming an historian. Ritchey’s research interrogates premodern conceptual categories such as nature, the body, and most recently, periodization and time. In her most recent book, Acts of Care: Regulating Women in Late Medieval Health (Cornell, 2021), Ritchey digs into women’s health in the Middle Ages.
